What is there to say about me? Well, for starters, I’m
vegan. I became a vegetarian when I was 8 years old, and turned to a
plant-based diet two years ago without looking back.
Today I’m 22, living in
downtown Montreal, and pursuing a double-major in English Literature and
Environmental Sciences at McGill. I teach school children part-time, giving
workshops on food and environment-related issues. I’m
a poet and a songwriter, and – like most compassionate artist-types – I’m flat
broke. This blog is my experience of veganism on a dime, and a catalogue of my
search for a lifestyle that’s healthy, compassionate, and affordable.
